Family Self-Sufficiency provides families with resources to help them overcome barriers that interfere with economic independence. Families work with Housing Advocates to determine services needed to achieve personal and family goals. These may include:
- Obtaining/maintaining employment
- Increasing income
- Increasing level of education with a GED, vocational course, or college credits/degree
- Refining a budget and financial skills
- Improving credit scores
- Ending the need for rental assistance
- Becoming a successful homeowner
