Legacy Trolley Tour and Lunch 2024

This year’s ICCF Homes & Hope Legacy Society event was a special 50th Anniversary Legacy Trolley Tour and Lunch on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Our tour began at Eastern Ave Christian Reformed Church and returned there for an informal lunch and program after driving a route that tracked ICCF’s 50-year history and impact. ICCF traces its founding to a group of volunteers at Eastern Ave CRC who 50 years ago renovated a house in the neighborhood and sold it to a low-income family. It was a true joy to host this special celebration right where it all began 50 years ago!

The program featured a Q&A session with Ryan VerWys and Jonathan Bradford. This was followed by closing remarks by Hank Kroondyk focusing on the quotation: “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.”

The ICCF Homes & Hope Legacy Luncheon is an annual opportunity to share our gratitude with donors who have (or are considering) included a legacy contribution to ICCF Community Homes in their estate plans.
