Financial Capabilities

Our Financial Capabilities classes will ensure you are financially prepared for homeownership. Content for this five-session series includes:

  • Money management
  • Spending plans
  • Credit
  • Debt reduction and saving
  • Banking basics
  • Fair housing/lending
  • Consumer protection
  • And more!

All sessions must be attended in order to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Free childcare is available for children ages two and older. Children must be potty-trained and the number of children needing care must be noted at registration.

SERVICES & POLICIES Fees for Services ҅ Introduction to Homeownership:

– $20 dollars for first registrant

– $5 for each additional registrant in the same household

– $5 reschedule fee per registrant

-Only one reschedule allowed ,Must be requested at least 3 days before originally scheduled class

* All fees are non-refundable and registration is non-transferable *

Fees may be waived for those with proof of hardship ҅ All other Housing Counseling and Education Services are Free of Charge.

Housing Counseling Policies ҅ Housing Counseling is by appointment only ҅ Appointments may be re-scheduled due to incomplete paperwork or documentation, or late arrival ҅ We strongly recommend arranging alternative care for children during Housing Counseling appointments
